Our eMERGENCY donors serve as “first responders” in the event of a blood shortage. When a crisis arises, we send out urgent email messages to these donors asking them to donate if they are able.
Please keep in mind that any units of blood used in an emergency situation were donated days before the crisis occurred. Don’t wait for a national disaster or an urgent need to donate. But join our eMERGENCY donor list as a reminder to donate when inventory for your blood type reaches dangerous levels.
